JOIN OUR FARM COMMUNITY!
What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is so much more than a vegetable delivery service. It is a relationship between our farm and you as our customer. You invest in this relationship by signing up at the start of the season to help the farm take on the initial expenses of growing each year, and we make a commitment to work our hardest to bring your family a changing variety of the highest quality produce throughout the season.
Why is a CSA important?
Signing up for our CSA program makes you a member of our farm community for the season. Not only are you forging a stronger and closer connection to your food source, you are reducing your carbon footprint, contributing to our local economy, and supporting stewardship of this beautiful river valley land. Your membership is a vote for environmental sustainability, community building, and your own family’s well being. CSA is also vital to our farm. Farming requires a large initial monetary and time investment each season, months before we harvest our first crops. Your purchase of a membership allows us to buy necessary items like seeds and compost, supplies and tools, and most importantly pay our rockstar staff who work tirelessly during those initial months (and all year) to get the farm off to a solid and productive start! In turn, we make sure you get the best produce we have to offer and an experience that empowers you to eat along with us through the seasons.
Our Growing Practices
Our produce and flowers are grown using organic farming practices, but we choose not to be Certified Organic. We practice sustainable farming techniques by utilizing cover crops, crop rotation plans, integrated pest management, efficient water usage, organic soil amendments, and lean farm management principles. We also go to great lengths to ensure your food is grown and harvested in compliance with farm and food safety procedures. We share more about these practices in our weekly CSA newsletter and we are happy to talk with you if you have more questions!

Community and connection are at the core of our CSA! We want our program to be a platform for meeting new people, exchanging resources, and eating healthfully. We will share what is going on at the farm regularly on social media and will keep our members updated with a weekly newsletter. Our newsletter will be chock-full of stories, updates, recipes and pictures to help us all stay connected to the rhythms of the changing seasons on the farm and make the most of the CSA box. You will also have special access to a private facebook community group to share recipes, kitchen techniques and resources with each other! Members have the opportunity to visit the farm for tours and an open house in the Spring & Fall, as well as additional events throughout the season. Time and time again, our members tell us their connection to the farm is the most meaningful part of the CSA experience
